Here I am in Avondale, Arizona….it’s so hot, the sun burns the skin in this dry heat. Thank goodness for my Mom’s pool, we all cool off and it’s alright. A day trip to Sedona’s scenic red rock canyons was refreshing to the senses, with the cool mountains and high altitude air. There is the Snoopy Rock that really does resemble good ol’ Snoopy lying on his back with his yellow bird pal perched on his nose. America the beautiful!

The Grand Canyon awaits, meanwhile there is the Armadillo Antiques mall, where we spent a good 3 hours. I came back home with bags of goodies, costume jewelry and parts to create more pieces for the Resurrection Vintage line. It was great fun to rummage in those ziploc bags, to find unique pieces as they are all intact. There was jewelry or trinkets for everyone at home, and a treasure for me was the rhinestone studded hummingbird pin, reminds me of the hummingbirds that come and go in the yard. and finally, an RV trip to the Grand Canyon and nearby towns of Flagstaff and Jerome.
